ADULT EDUCATION continues at BMPC or on ZOOM.
BMPC Adult Education will discuss The Hidden Life of Trees: What They Feel, How They Communicate, by Peter Wohlleben from 9:15 – 10:15 a.m. September 12 – October 17. Join us even if you haven’t read the book! This 6-week discussion which will be conducted entirely on Zoom for those at home or at BMPC . (We will not be offering book copies this year; please purchase your own.)
The author and forester of The Hidden Life of Trees makes the case that the forest is a social network. He describes how trees are like human families. Tree parents together with their children communicate with them, support them as they grow, share nutrients with them, and even warn each other of dangers.
Attend class at BMPC building or at home. You can now attend Adult Education on Zoom at church or from your home. If you wish to attend at church, bring your computer or phone, log in to the church wifi, and socially distance throughout the building.
