Fall 2018 at Bryn Mawr Presbyterian

Sunday School is now taking an inter-generational approach.   Jamie will lead 45 minutes which will focus on building connections, learning simple prayer practices, sharing and responding to a story and departing with a blessing. It will include children entering kindergarten and all ages beyond. Younger children are welcome if they are accompanied by a parent or another adult and are able to sit in a circle. Join us for donuts at 9:15 and the group begins at 9:30 on Sundays before worship.    Info: Jamie Schultz or Suzanne, chair of Christian Ed.

The BMPC choir has begun 2018-19 season with practice on Wednesdays at 7 p.m..  Absolute beginners and lifelong singers are equally welcome to join our choir community!

Adult Ed begins Sunday, September 9 with Brene Brown’s Daring Greatly: How the Courage to be Vulnerable Transforms the Way We Live, Love, Parent and Lead (preface and chap1, pages 1-31.)  The book explores these powerful, tough topics:  Acting courageously and strong to be vulnerable; building resilience to shame, serving as a role model for children. We’ll meet Sundays, Sept. 9 – Oct. 14  in the More Light Room at 9:30 a.m. Contact Sally  to request a book and assignments before class starts.

for more info on any of these, email:  office@brynmawrchurch.org, and your request will be passed along to those involved in the programs.
