Bryn Mawr Movie Night to Feature Award-Winning Documentary

Bryn Mawr Presbyterian Church in Minneapolis invites everyone to a special October 28th showing of How Love Won: The Fight for Marriage Equality in Minnesota, a documentary produced and directed by Michael McIntee that won the Audience Choice Award for Best Minnesota-Made Feature Documentary at the Minneapolis St. Paul International Film Festival.

The film is the inspiring and uplifting story of how savvy organizing, a massive number of volunteers, and a secret weapon turned the tide in Minnesota after 30 other states in a row had voted against same-sex marriage. You can find more information here: http://howlovewon.com/

Michael McIntee will join us for the showing at Bryn Mawr Presbyterian Church (420 South Cedar Lake Rd., Minneapolis) on Friday, October 28, starting at 7:00 p.m., and will be available afterwards for Q&A. There is no ticket charge; a freewill offering will be put towards increasing distribution of the film to a wider audience.

This project was funded with money from the Arts and Cultural Heritage Fund that was created with the vote of the people of Minnesota on November 4, 2008
